, as a coordinating body in the field of IP rights enforcement, which is a condition for the economic, social, and cultural development of BiH in accordance with the achievements of a modern, knowledge-based society.
MTS is composed of representatives of institutions responsible for the enforcement of intellectual property rights at all levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as representatives of the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina as an institution responsible for performing professional and administrative tasks in the field of intellectual property.
According to the Strategy for the Implementation of Intellectual Property Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina, MTS is tasked with strengthening inter-institutional cooperation through initiating and coordinating activities in the field of acquisition and enforcement of intellectual property rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim of establishing and operating a comprehensive intellectual property system compatible with the system existing in the European Union (EU). The online platform for data entry and exchange between institutions responsible for the enforcement of intellectual property rights is interactive, reliable, and easy to use. The platform enables secure communication of all involved parties with the goal of effective enforcement of intellectual property rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina, i.e., the implementation of legal measures against persons who violate intellectual property rights.
